Shoot for Shalom is a first-of-its kind Basketball tournament that harnesses the power and the passion of competition team sports for Jewish education. Be part of the very first professionally coached, Jewish basketball tournament and help raise vital funds to secure Jewish continuity.
Tournament

Shalom Torah Centers New JerseyThe tournament will consist of four divisions of 3-player teams with each team playing at least three games leading up to the playoffs. Players can join either individually or as a team with a minimal commitment to solicit sponsorships from friends and acquaintances.

Tournament Day, February 8, 2015, will begin with a Coach’s Clinic session, where players can warm up and perfect their basketball skills under the tutelage of Tournament Coach, Bill Cartwright. It will be followed by a series of pool-play games. Energy drinks, delicious food and refreshments will be available all throughout the day at the open Sports Bar in the mezzanine. After a minimum of 3 games, the final playoff tournament will be followed by a Gala Awards Banquet on the Shalom Campus.

Awards
All players are invited to participate in the Gala Awards Banquet on Sunday evening at the Shalom campus in East Windsor, giving participants a firsthand look at the achievements being accomplished through their dedication.
The Awards Banquet will be catered by Richter Caterers and pay tribute to the Tournament sponsors, highest achievers, and to all those who have dedicated their playing skills to assist in the vital work of Shalom.
Prize
Winners of the Shoot 4 Shalom tournament will receive a VIP experience with former New York Knicks Anthony Mason. The winning team will have the choice of a round of golf with the former Knicks legend, or dinner with Anthony at an upscale Manhattan restaurant.
