On Sunday May 31st, 2015 New York City hosted it’s annual Israel Day Parade. Crowds gathered to watch politicians, Jewish organizations, Jewish schools and others march, dance or drive a float down Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue.
This years theme was “Israel Imagines.” According to the parades organizational website Celebrate Israel, this theme is based off the dream of the country’s founders who “imagined a vibrant, independent and Jewish state that would not only be a haven for Jews from all over the world, but also one that would incorporate the best characteristics of its citizens.”
ELECTED as possibly one of the best video clips of the day.
